Her main specialisation is the economic history of Great Britain during the 20th century and the development of the process of economic integration of Western Europe in the second half of the 20th century. She is targeted also to the economic and political development of Czechoslovakia in the years 1918–1948 and the development of tertiary education in economic field in communist Czechoslovakia.

She successfully completed study of Ph.D. study program Economics and Economic Administration Economic and Political History in the 20th Century at the Faculty of Economics of the Prague University of Economics and Business. She studied the main specialization at the master degree at the Faculty of Economics and the minor specialization at the Faculty of Finance and Accounting. During 2013-2019 she realized several short-term research stays in London (National Archives of the UK, London School of Economics and Political Science).

She has been teaching at the Department of Economic History at the Prague University of Economics and Business. In 2014–2017 she worked for the Czech Science Foundation and she has been working at the position of academic staff at the Unicorn University at Prague.
